Duct mount temperature sensor designed to monitor air temperature within HVAC ductwork using precision sensing elements, including 100Ω Platinum, 1KΩ Platinum, Nickel RTDs, and 10KΩ Type II, Type III, or 20KΩ thermistors. The sensor is housed in an IP65-rated enclosure to protect against dust and humidity, and installs using a 4-screw mounting flange with a set screw for adjustable probe depth. With a response time under 10 seconds, it transmits real-time temperature data to Building Automation System controllers to support accurate and responsive HVAC operation.
Featuring a temperature probe with adjustable depth, and an IP65 rated enclosure offering superior protection against dust and water ingress, the AcuTEMS DM is designed for integration with HVAC networks. The sensor measures air temperature inside the ductwork, making sure the temperature is at a comfortable level and the system is operating at the optimal condition.
By accurately measuring air temperature, the AcuTEMS DM helps air handling units control dampers, heating/cooling coils, and fan speeds to optimize the ventilation processes. The sensors create a feedback system for the AHU, allowing it to maintain the set temperature point, improve energy efficiency, and ensure occupant comfort.
The AcuTEMS DM works in combination with the AcuTEMS RM room temperature sensor to maintain different temperature levels across different zones of the building. AcuTEMS RM measures the room temperature to decide if more warm or cold air needs to be delivered, while AcuTEMS DM measures the air temperature flowing in and out of the zone to ensure optimal temperature.

The exact measurement range depends on the selected sensor type. AcuTEMS DM supports 0-50°C (32-122°F), 0-100°C (32-212°F), or a custom range that can be calibrated from -40°C to +100°C (-40°F to 212°F).
Depending on the type of sensing element, AcuTEMS DM measures temperature with up to ±0.2°C @ 25°C (±0.36°F @ 77°F) accuracy.
