AcuHMI Overview

HMI Display

The AcuHMI human machine interface provides a main control hub that will connect the system operator to the metering devices in a facility. The 7-inch, 800x480 pixel interactive display renders detailed on-screen UI controls, visualization charts and tabular data in full colour. Centrally view real-time data across all downstream devices to oversee device status, alarm notifications, and settings on a single HMI screen.

Webpage Interface

Built-in Webpage Interface is a centralized software platform accessible from a computer browser anywhere, anytime. It allows operators to monitor aggregated metering data, while streamlining device connection management to the AcuHMI. Advanced device settings can be controlled from the interface allowing the system operator to standardize the configuration process across all devices.

How does HMI and gateway device work with PDUs, and meters to manage power distribution in a facility?

Power distribution units can be paired with an HMI, gateway, or meters to form an essential part of data center infrastructure to administer power delivery to servers, computers, and other critical IT components. This allows facilities to better optimize power management and scale operations according to cost and performance goals.

The AcuHMI combines an HMI display and gateway allowing operators to monitor and control devices across different networks through a single interface. The HMI centralizes operations by allowing users to view and configure devices and energy data management directly from the HMI or remotely from the Webpage Interface.

AcuHMI FAQ

What protocols does the AcuHMI support?

The AcuHMI supports downstream protocols such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet MS/TP, and BACnet IP. Upstream protocols include MQTT, SNMP, Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet IP, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, AWS IoT, and Google IoT.

How does RSTP improve network reliability?

With dual Ethernet ports configured for Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP), AcuHMI enables daisy-chain networking while preventing loops. If a link fails, traffic is automatically rerouted within milliseconds, minimizing downtime.

Can AcuHMI store and forward logged data?

Yes. AcuHMI includes 32GB memory for time-stamped logging. Data can be posted to external servers for long-term storage, analysis, or audit using standard transfer protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SFTP.

What alarm features are available?

The AcuHMI supports configurable alarms for parameter thresholds and device online/offline status. Triggers activate a visual LED alert, while all events are logged for review. Email notifications can also be configured.

How is user access managed on the AcuHMI?

User access is managed through a role-based system. Default roles include View (read-only) and Admin (full access). Multi-user support allows concurrent logins, while password management enforces account security.
