Can the AcuRev 4100 monitor multiple voltage systems simultaneously?
No. It uses a single 3-phase voltage reference input shared by all 24 current inputs. All monitored circuits must originate from the same electrical system (same panelboard or transformer secondary) to ensure accurate power and energy measurements. Mixed voltage systems are not supported (e.g., 208 V and 480 V simultaneously).
What if the current transformer inputs are installed incorrectly at the terminals?
If a CT is installed backward, the meter allows for software polarity correction, though physical correction is recommended for billing.
Can AcuRev 4100 measure neutral or bidirectional current?
No. Neutral current is measured only if a CT is installed on the neutral and mapped. AcuRev 4100 supports bidirectional measurement and tracks delivered and received energy, making it ideal for solar energy measurement applications.
What communications and software options are available?
AcuRev 4100 supports Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP and BACnet MS/TP which is configurable via front panel LCD or Acuview 2 software. Additional WEB2 module supports dual Ethernet and Wi-Fi.
How many communication modules are needed per meter?
A single WEB2 or WEB2-D module acts as a gateway to collect and store data from up to 4 connected devices aggregating to overall 96 channels.
How many circuits can a single AcuRev 4100 measure and can circuit types be mixed?
Yes. The system is designed to monitor single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase circuits, provided all loads share the same voltage reference.
Does AcuRev 4100 need special connectors for current transformer inputs?
No special connectors are required. CTs connect directly to the meter terminals, but the CT output type must match the meter mA or mV model.
Is a webserver included in AcuRev 4100?
Webserver is provided through the optional WEB2 or WEB2-D modules.
Can the AcuRev 4100 support both 333mV and 120mV Rogowski Coil current transformer on the same meter?
Yes. Each channel can be independently configured in settings for the connected CT type to be used simultaneously on the same meter.
