MODBUS DUAL ETHERNET METER MODULE
The AXM-NET2 is an entry-level dual Ethernet communication module for Acuvim II and Acuvim L Series power meters. Encrypted HTTPS Communication
The AXM-NET2 uses HTTPS communication with TLS 1.2 encryption to provide secure access to the built-in Web Interface for real-time meter monitoring, network configuration, and system management, as well as encrypted connection to AcuCloud.
Reliable Data Post
Metering parameters are automatically updated through data posts to AcuCloud, with automatic local buffering and retransmission to ensure data continuity during network interruptions.
Remote Device Configuration
The AXM-NET2 enables remote configuration and maintenance of the connected meter through a built-in Web Interface, allowing factory reset and reboot functions without requiring local access.
SNTP Time Synchronization
The AXM-NET2 supports SNTP time synchronization with configurable time-zone settings (UTC ±14:00), ensuring accurate timestamping of uploaded and displayed data.

Remote Data Access
The AXM-NET2 provides remote access to real-time measurement data through its built-in Web Interface, with tabular reports for basic metering, power & energy, and phase angle. Dedicated webpages update every 10 seconds for continuous monitoring and analysis.
Basic Metering
Monitor basic metering data for each phase, including voltage, current, power, power factor, and frequency. A fast data refresh rate allows quick verification of system conditions, wiring, and load status.
Power & Energy
Access power & energy data, including energy consumption and generation for import and export, per-phase energy breakdown, and power demand for each phase.
Phase Angle
Analyze the phase angles of voltage and current to determine the polarity of the connected current transformer.

What is the difference between AXM-NET2 and AXM-WEB2?
The AXM-NET2 is an entry-level Ethernet-based communication module that forms part of the AXM-WEB2 product line, offering Modbus TCP/IP communication and an encrypted HTTPS Web Interface for real-time monitoring and data post to AcuCloud.
Are the two Ethernet ports on the AXM-NET2 independent?
No. The two RJ45 ports are internally bridged and share a single logical IP address and network configuration. They are designed for a daisy-chain topology and operate within the same broadcast domain.
Is Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) supported on the AXM-NET2?
Yes. RSTP is enabled by default and cannot be disabled, which prevents network loops and ensures fast recovery in redundant topologies.
Does the AXM-NET2 store historical data locally?
No. The AXM-NET2 does not provide local historical log exports through the Web Interface, and historical data must be accessed through AcuCloud or the Acuview 2 Meter Data Management Software.
Does the AXM-NET2 support firmware upgrades?
No. Firmware upgrades must be performed using Acuview 2 software over Modbus TCP/IP for both the module firmware and the meter firmware.
