Accuenergy Expands Submeter Panel Solutions with AcuPanel 9107X

Toronto, ON – October 5, 2026 - Accuenergy is expanding its range of pre-wired submetering panels with the addition of the AcuPanel 9107X. Designed for branch circuit submetering in commercial, industrial, and other electrical applications, the AcuPanel 9107X integrates an AcuRev 4100 Series multi-channel submeter into a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.

The AcuPanel 9107X supports up to 24 current inputs and can be configured for up to 24 single-phase, 12 two-phase, or 8 three-phase circuits, as well as custom service configurations depending on the required circuitry. The integrated AcuRev 4100 Series submeter provides revenue-grade metering accuracy to ANSI C12.20 Class 0.2 and IEC 62053-22 Class 0.2S. The meter measures active, reactive, and apparent energy, as well as demand and peak demand.

Demand for submetering continues to grow as building owners, facility operators, and energy managers seek more detailed visibility into electricity consumption. Submetering provides circuit- and tenant-level data that can support energy management, cost allocation, tenant billing, and identifying opportunities to improve energy efficiency.

“As electrical systems become increasingly complex and panel requirements more specific, manufacturing and supply chain coordination become increasingly important,” said Ben Tang, Director of Operations - Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Accuenergy. “Our focus is on building processes that are consistent from a manufacturing perspective, while maintaining the flexibility needed for different metering and panel configurations.”

The AcuPanel 9107X is factory assembled, pre-wired, labelled, and tested before shipment. Pre-installed components include terminal blocks for voltage and current inputs, a control transformer, and industrial-grade fuses. The factory-wired configuration helps reduce field wiring and installation complexity while providing a prepared assembly for branch circuit monitoring applications.

The submeter panel also incorporates a self-powered design that derives power from the monitored electrical system, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. This supports simplified wiring and installation for applications requiring multiple branch circuit measurements.

In addition to energy measurement, the AcuPanel 9107X supports power quality monitoring. The integrated meter monitors voltage and current total harmonic distortion, voltage crest factor, current K-factor, and unbalance, while measuring individual voltage and current harmonics up to the 31st harmonic order. Event-triggered waveform capture is also available at up to 128 samples per cycle, with up to 2,560 samples before and after the trigger.

The NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure provides protection against dust, water, high temperature, and corrosive and harsh environmental conditions, supporting indoor and outdoor installations. The panel is also UL Listed and UL 508A certified. A lockable housing and enclosure metrology seals provide additional protection against unauthorized access and tampering, supporting applications such as tenant submetering and billing.

Communication can be included as part of the panel configuration through an optional communication module. The AcuPanel 9107X supports RS485 communication with Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP, as well as dual Ethernet with Modbus TCP and RSTP. Optional ACM-41-WEB2 and ACM-41-WEB2-D modules provide additional communication and remote access capabilities, including Wi-Fi on the WEB2 model, BACnet/IP, EtherNet/IP, MQTT, SNMP, HTTPS, SFTP, and connectivity to AcuCloud, AWS IoT, and Azure IoT.

The AcuPanel 9107X is also available with configurable current input and control power options to accommodate different installation requirements. Current input options include 333 mV CT or 120 mV Rogowski coil inputs, as well as 80 mA or 100 mA CT inputs. Custom OEM configurations are also available, including custom branding, OEM components, and panel dimensions for specific space or equipment requirements.

As part of Accuenergy's broader AcuPanel portfolio, the AcuPanel 9107X provides a factory-assembled approach to branch circuit submetering, bringing metering, wiring, protection, and communication options together in a single panel assembly. The portfolio includes pre-wired panel configurations for different metering requirements, allowing panel solutions to be matched to a range of electrical systems and applications.

By combining the AcuRev 4100 Series multi-channel submeter with factory panel assembly, the AcuPanel 9107X provides a pre-wired solution for high-density branch circuit submetering, supporting energy measurement, power quality monitoring, and connected electrical monitoring applications.
